Privacy Policy
The short version: we don't collect your photos. We don't collect your identity. We don't track you across apps. Everything happens on your iPhone.
PhotoPurge is operated by Omnivera Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202628189M) ("we," "us," "our"), a company incorporated in Singapore. This policy explains what data PhotoPurge does and does not collect.
1. What we don't do
PhotoPurge does not:
- Upload your photos to any server
- Store your photos in any cloud
- Create an account for you
- Ask for your email, name, or any identifying information
- Track you across apps or websites
- Use Firebase, Facebook SDK, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Sentry, or any third-party analytics or advertising SDK
- Sell or share data with advertisers
- Use your photos to train AI models
2. What stays on your device
All photo processing happens entirely on your iPhone:
- Duplicate detection (perceptual hashing)
- Blur detection
- Screenshot identification
- Large-video detection
Your photos are accessed through Apple's Photos framework with your permission. They are read, analyzed on-device, and never transmitted off your device.
3. What we do collect
Subscription data (via Apple + RevenueCat)
When you purchase a subscription or lifetime license, Apple processes the payment. We use RevenueCat (a subscription management service) to receive an anonymous subscription receipt from Apple. This receipt tells us:
- Which tier you purchased (Monthly, Annual, Lifetime)
- Whether your subscription is active, in trial, expired, or cancelled
- Anonymous subscription identifier (not linked to your Apple ID, name, or email)
We do NOT receive your payment details, card information, or Apple ID. All billing is handled by Apple.

Anonymous usage events (via TelemetryDeck)
We use TelemetryDeck to understand how users move through the app. This is anonymous and aggregate:
- Event names (e.g., "scan_started," "paywall_viewed," "photo_deleted")
- App version and iOS version
- Anonymous, hashed device identifier (not your Apple ID, not your IDFA)
We do NOT collect:
- Photo content, photo metadata, or photo counts
- Your name, email, IP address, or location
- Any data that can identify you personally

Support correspondence
If you reach out through our contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you submit. We use this only to respond to your support request. We do not add you to any marketing list.
4. Children's privacy
PhotoPurge is rated 4+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is designed to work without any personal information collection regardless of user age. Parental supervision is recommended for any iPhone use by children.
5. Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete on our end. You can:
- Revoke photo permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy → Photos → PhotoPurge
- Cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings → [Your Apple ID] → Subscriptions
- Delete the app to remove all on-device data
If you have made a purchase and want a refund, please contact Apple Support directly at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not have access to your payment information and cannot process refunds.
6. Data retention
- Photos: never leave your device
- Subscription receipts: retained by Apple and RevenueCat as long as your subscription is active, then deleted per their retention policies
- Anonymous usage events: retained by TelemetryDeck per their policy
- Support emails: retained for 12 months after last contact, then deleted
7. International data transfers
- RevenueCat processes data in the United States
- TelemetryDeck processes data in the European Union (Germany)
- We comply with Singapore's PDPA, the GDPR, and the CCPA. Because we do not collect personal data, most of these regulations have minimal application to us.
8. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will also be announced in-app. Continued use of PhotoPurge after changes means you accept the updated policy.
